-Go to Control Panel.
Windows Vista/7/8/10: Control Panel » System » Device Manager
Windows XP: Control Panel » System » 'Hardware' tab » Device Manager
Expand 'Other devices' or 'Ports (COM & LPT)'. Under them you will see either 'USB Serial Port' or 'EOBD2' or another different name that only shows up when cable is plugged in.
Whichever it is, right-click on it and choose: Update Driver SoftwareThen Browse to the folder where you installed Galletto 1260 in Step 1.

Recovery procedure:
Galletto 1260 Software Download
- Connect Galletto to USB, run Device Manager and install drivers for not recognized Galletto from directory “FIX1Standard FTDI Drivers for recovery”
- Run MProg.exe, open the file “Galetto_v54.ept” and press “Program”
- Disconnect UBS and connect back.
Now Galletto will be recognized, but not fully programmed.
- Go to “FIX2” directory and run FTReadWrite_v3.exe, press “Write” and open 54.bin file.
The Galletto V54 now recovered.
