The process for downgrading apps differs slightly between OS X and Windows. On a Mac, you’ll need an app called Charles, while on Windows you’ll need Fiddler. From there, you’ll need to run through a ton of steps, dig through some XML files, and jump through various other hoops to get the old version of an app. It’s a bit of work, but it’s worth it if an update really screwed with an app you use often (looking at you, YouTube). Head over to iDownloadBlog for the guide to downgrade apps from your Mac, or Medium for the guide on how to do it from your Windows computer.

Never, never shake a baby! And that’s what the iPhone app developer, Sikalosoft suggests who has created an iPhone app called Baby Shaker. Baby Shaker for iPhone displays a drawing of a child and it begins to annoy you immediately. The idea is to see how long you can endure the sounds of a crying baby, before you decide to find a way to calm the baby down. Shaking the iPhone will simulate “shaking the baby”. Baby Shaker is now sold in the iTunes App Store.
This is a controversial iPhone app. Never, EVER shake a real baby! Shaking a baby is the worst thing you can do, and can damage the baby’s brain & harms the baby in many ways. For more information visit the Shaken Baby Syndrome website at http://stopsbs.net/
Update: The Baby Shaker app has been pulled from the App Store. Apple’s statement follows in its entirety: “This application was deeply offensive and should not have been approved for distribution on the App Store. When we learned of this mistake, the app was removed immediately. We sincerely apologize for this mistake and thank our customers for bringing this to our attention.”
